Very easy to make and my hubby loves them! Will definitely make again. Thank you for a great recipe.

easy

Cannot recommend enough. Easy and quick to make, uses simple pantry items, lasts well, healthy ingredients and tastes absolutely divine. Best muesli bar I have found. Unfortunately my first batch was eaten with 10 minutes, so I must make another for this week's lunches!

Kids loved them.......so did Mum!

I love this cake I have been trying to get this recipe for some time, thank you very much, and found it here, thank you. have not tried yet though .will do.This is a great page, 5 stars from me.

I made this recipe with gluten free flour and gluten free weetbix and it was very successful. I will definitely make it again.

i made them but they did not turn out like this.

These are great - although next time I make them I will reduce the amount of butter and add some oats as I found they came out quite greasy.

My daughter is coeliac so I made these gluten free by substituting the flour for Edmonds gluten free flour and using gluten free weetbix. I used raisins but swapped half the dried fruit for dark chocolate chips - they were delicious and also freeze really well. I cut most of it into small squares and wrapped individually and put in the freezer so I could easily grab one for her lunchbox. They didn’t last long though and incidentally they are also nice frozen!

Yum

Worked great in the lunch

Lovely recipe

Love this recipe, so good!!

I tried it with brown sugar and a extra tablespoon of golden syrup. I also added dark chocolate and sunflower seeds. My family like the way they turned out chewy. My son who doesn't like fruit loves these bars the way I make them. A good way to get fruit in him just add chocolate.

Great recipe, i make at least once a fortnight, its a big hit in our house everyone loves it and it doesn't last long.

Everyone's saying it's foolproof but sorry guys I broke it!! Lol my kids talked me in to substituting the dried fruit and coconut for half cup of dark chocolate chips instead and it's way too gooey now!! Bakers be warned... I should have ignored them :) I'm just sitting here watching them hoping they will eventually firm up.
CHELSEA: oh no! Substituting the dried fruit for chocolate chips should be ok but we wouldn't recommend removing the coconut (unless you were going to replace it with an equal quantity of another dry ingredient, i.e. rolled oats).

Very quick and easy to make and also foolproof, And also very tasty. I replaced the maple syrup with honey for a more natural sweetness, the weetbix with quick oats and the raw sugar for brown sugar. They've turned out very nice. I used Almonds, Sunflower seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Cranberries and Dates; and sprinkled the top with crushed white chocolate.
I will definitely be coming back to this recipe again.

Absolutely delicious after adding grated rind of a lemon. YUM

Great recipe. I made a few adjustments I only put half a cup of sugar in, as this is the second time I have made these and found them pretty sweet with all the dried fruit. I used 3 weetbix and 3/4 cup of rolled oats and they tasted great.

Great recipe, easy to make and great to eat.

My kids prefer these to the shop bought muesli bars we used to buy.

Great recipe. So easy for the kids to help make. Great chewy texture and so many possible combinations to make. We love to make with dried apricot and chocolate chips, cranberry and white chocolate or date and pumpkin seed :-)

I'm so happy to have used this recipe .my friends loved them
And so did I
Thank you for a lovely recipe

Amazing slice quick and easy

I have made this for the first time substituting the flour for Gluten Free Flour and the weetbix for Sanitarium Gluten Free Weetbix. I also added chocolate chips instead of fruit. It is nice to finally find a muesli bar that tastes great.

Finally found a good recipe. Thank you family love it

I make this at least once a week at the mo, and it is eaten by all 3 kids, plus hubby and me. Not often we find a recipe we all love!

I make this a lot and everyone always comments on it. I make it with chopped up dates for the fruit and occasionally I have added chocolate chips at the end.

This is fantastic. I have been searching for ages for something like this. Super easy and very yummy

I've started using the crumbs from the Weetbix bites packets and it is yum. Also subsituted some of the weetbix for rolled oats for a bit more texture.

Love making these, they have a chewy texture and are great made with molasses. You can put whatever you want in - the recipe is foolproof!
